The Cubs are one of Major League Baseball’s most inspiring teams, which explains why Cubs hats and caps remain popular to this day. The Cubs began their long, colorful career as the Chicago White Stockings in 1870. They later changed their names to the Colts and later, to the Orphans. In 1902 and with new ownership, the team was renamed the Chicago Cubs. Since then, the Cubbies have won 2 World Series titles and 16 National League Pennants. They are one of the most popular teams in MLB today, serving as inspiration for books, music and literature.
Chicago is the Cubs’ home turf, a city that has gained prominence in many fields, such as finance, commerce and media. Some of the most recognizable landmarks in the United States can be found here. These include the Chicago Water Tower, Sears Tower, the Buckingham Fountain, the Navy Pier Ferris Wheel and the John Hancock Center. There are also other structures of note, including the Museum of Science and Industry Building, Adler Planetarium and of course, Wrigley Field.
